About This Tour
This is a tour for family, friends, or couples. We will visit the modern Miraflores, known as the tourist center, panoramic view of the archaeological center “Huaca Pucllana”, a large pre-Inca ceremonial building almost 2 thousand years old. Visit the residential district of San Isidro and its famous “Parque del Olivar”, with more than 1,500 olive trees considered the longest-lived on the American continent. Tour the historic center of Lima, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, and visit Plaza San Martín, Cathedral Basilica, Government Palace, Plaza Mayor, and the Convent of San Francisco, considered a jewel of colonial art and whose main attractions are the famous “catacombs”.

- The tour begins with pickup from your Hotel – located in the Miraflores area, you will enjoy a tour getting to know Lima in its three stages: Pre-Hispanic, Colonial, and Modern Lima. The tour will start from the Miraflores district, along the way you will see from the bus the impressive “Huaca Pucllana”, an ancient Ceremonial and archaeological Center built in the 4th century AD. and considered a Sacred Town of the Incas.
- Then the tour guide will take you to the Historic Center of Lima. Where you will appreciate what the old Colonial Lima was, in addition to different monuments and colonial buildings within which the Paseo de la República (Roosevelt House) stands out, which welcomes all tourists to the Historic Center, Plaza San Martín, La Plaza Mayor, among others, then you can descend around the Plaza Mayor where you can see its majestic most representative buildings such as the Government Palace, the Municipal Palace, the Archbishop's Palace, the Cathedral Basilica, then visit and enter the Convent of San Francisco, which constitutes the largest sample of colonial religious art in America. Where its main attraction is the visit to its underground crypts known as The Catacombs.
- Continuing the tour, we will visit the Museum of the Central Reserve Bank where the Collection of Treasures of Peru is located, within which you will find ceramic, gold, and textile objects from various pre-Columbian cultures. Finally, we will visit the Contemporary or Modern Zone of Lima where the main buildings and residential areas of Lima can be seen, such as El Parque del Olivar de San Isidro. Ending in Miraflores - Parque del Amor - Larcomar.
Note. The Museum of the Central Reserve Bank is closed to the public on Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays all day.
