We begin a new day of adventure with pickup from your hotel around 7:30 am to begin our trip to one of the deepest canyons in the world, taking the Yura highway, bordering the snowy Chachani towards
Pampa Cañahuas (National Reserve of Aguada Blanca and Salinas) habitat of the beautiful South American camelids, the vicuñas.

In the Tocra wetlands, we can see a variety of migratory birds, among which

find flamingos. We will pass through the crater of an extinct volcano (Chucura).

We will stop at the volcano viewpoint, which is also the highest area of the road (4,800 meters above sea level) from where we can appreciate a large part of the western mountain range.

Around 1:00 p.m. we will arrive at the town of Chivay where we will settle into our hotel.

Then, we will enjoy a delicious lunch in a nice traditional restaurant.

In the afternoon, we will have the opportunity to visit the Colca thermal baths whose thermo-medicinal waters range between 35º to 38º degrees Celsius in temperature in the pools (Optional visit +$5
USD admission).

In the evening we will enjoy dinner service in a traditional restaurant with a folk music show.

• We begin the day with an early pick-up from your hotel around 06:30 am to go to the Cruz del Cóndor viewpoint, a strategic observation point of the canyon and the spectacular flight of the condor. On
  the way back we will stop in the towns of Pinchollo, Maca, and Yanque; which have beautiful colonial churches, as well as the Choquetico and Antahuilque viewpoints, from where we will observe the
  impressive terraces of the valley, the tombs, and pre-Inca models.
• At noon we will enjoy a delicious lunch.
• Then, we will board our transportation from Chivay to embark on a trip of approximately 6 hours to the city of Puno.
• On the route, we will make a tourist stop in "Lagunillas", where several natural lagoons and various migratory birds can be seen.
• We will arrive in the city of Puno around 7 p.m., dropping you off at your hotel.
