- We start the day with the pick up from your respective accommodation between 04:10 a.m. to 04:20 a.m., to go with the transport to the town of Tintinco - Paucarpata (approx. 2 hour trip).
- We start the day with the pick-up from your respective accommodation between 04:00 am and 04:30 am, to head south with transportation, arriving at the town of Cusipata (2 hours drive approx.).
- Upon arriving in Cusipata, you will be able to taste our local breakfast, getting some time to organize the rest of the things we need.
- We will then continue with the 1 hour and 30 minute (4 km) transportation to the town of Phulliwasipata.
- We will arrive at the checkpoint, where the community organized to collect an income.
- We will begin the walk at 4,700 meters above sea level, along the way we will be able to appreciate how the color of the landscape and the mountains changes, we will be able to perceive how the
temperature changes, reaching a maximum height of 5,033 meters above sea level. - It is there where we will find the Mountain of 7 Colors, having enough time to capture images and enjoy nature, delighting in the magic of the mountains that surround it.
- Next, you can take photos with animals in the area such as Alpacas and LLamas, and then begin our return along the same path, being a much calmer and more leisurely walk.
- When we descend, our bus will be waiting for us to return to Cusipata where a delicious lunch awaits us, thus sharing this beautiful experience with the rest of the group.
- After some free time we will take the transportation that will take us back to Cusco, arriving at the City Center between approximately 17:00 hrs approx.
Note: During the ascent to the mountain, you will have the opportunity to rent a horse that will serve as a backup in case of an emergency due to the change in altitude (The rental is negotiated directly with the resident and could cost between S/. 80.00 to S/. .90.00 Peruvian currency).
It is recommended that tourists arrive at least 2 days to obtain a good acclimatization.
Maximum Altitude: 5,036 masl (16,500 feet).
Minimum Altitude: We start the walk at 4,700 masl (15,400 feet).
Trek time: 4 hours ascent and descent
Trek distance: 9.5 Km (5,9 miles).
Difficulty degree: High-moderate.

While I appreciate the focus on eco-friendliness, I\’m not the most outdoorsy person. This tour might be better suited for nature enthusiasts.
