• We start the day with pick-up from your respective accommodation according to the time scheduled for the tour.
• Travel by private van for approximately 2 hours to the Ollantaytambo train station.
• Then, we will board the expedition tourist train to KM104 starting point of the Short Inca Trail.
• Our first visit to the archaeological complex of Chachabamba, an ancient citadel considered as the union of the Andean trilogy “Uku Pacha” or the world of the dead, underground, the “Kai Pacha” or real
  world, of the earth and the “Hanan Pacha” or the celestial world.
• During our walk you will be able to appreciate the beautiful landscape, visualizing snow-capped peaks entering the cloud forest mountains for approximately 4 hours.
• At noon we will make a technical stop to enjoy our box lunch (vegetarian option at the client's request) and rest a little.
• In the afternoon we will visit the archaeological complex of Wiñay Wayna, which was inhabited by farmers who used the terraces in order to recover slopes for agriculture.
• We will find recently restored buildings, an irrigation system, and an Inca temple.
• Then, we will continue our walk for another 2 hours until we reach Inti Punku "Sun Gate", from where we can see Machu Picchu, which we will arrive 45 minutes from this point.
• Next, we will take the Consettur bus to go down to the town of Aguas Calientes.
• We will spend one night in a comfortable 3-star hotel (optional upgrade).

• Early breakfast at your hotel in Aguas Calientes.
• We will dedicate the second day to the guided tour of Machu Picchu, taking the bus from Aguas Calientes to the citadel for approximately 30 minutes.
• Our tour within the Historic Sanctuary of Machupicchu with our certified guide will take approximately 2 hours according to the circuit assigned on the entrance ticket.
• At the end of your visit, we will board the bus down to the town of Aguas Calientes.
• We will enjoy a delicious 3-course executive lunch.
• In the afternoon, we will board our expedition service train back to Ollantaytambo.
• Finally, our private transportation will bring you back to Cusco, leaving you at your accommodation.
