About This Tour
To the south of the city of Cusco is the place known as the South Valley. It is an important place for the development of the Inca empire. This is the perfect tour for people looking to experience archaeological sites and magnificent landscapes.
You will be able to see the magnificent hydraulic architecture of Tipón, pre-Inca constructions in Pikillacta, and beautiful works of art from the Cusco school in the Temple of Andahuaylillas. In addition, you can visit a variety of restaurants in the town of Saylla where the specialty is 'chicharrón' and cuy 'guinea pig'.

- We start the day with the pick-up from your respective accommodation between 8:20 and 8:45 a.m.
- Once the group is complete, we will begin the tour on the way to our first point, Tipón, also known as the water temple, where we will appreciate irrigation systems and terraces from the Inca era.
- We will continue with the tour to reach Pikillaqta, considered one of Peru's most preserved pre-Inca cities corresponding to the Wari culture.
- Then, we will travel for about 30 minutes to our last point of visit, Andahuaylillas, along the way we will be able to see the wetlands of the Huacarpay lagoon.
- In Andahuaylillas, we will visit the San Pedro Apóstol Church (Sistine Chapel of America). Built in the 17th century, it is an example of Colonial Art, with gilded altars, murals, paintings, and
polychrome ceilings. - On the return to Cusco, we will make a technical stop in Saylla, famous for its delicious pork rinds (optional for lunch).
- Finally, we will return to Cusco, arriving around 3:00 p.m. near the main square of Cusco.
